Welcome to the Octoraro District

The Octoraro District is part of the Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America. We are one of the four districts in the council, and we are named for the Octoraro Creek, which can be found flowing around Camp Ware and Camp Horseshoe, at our beloved Horseshoe Scout Reservation.

Most of our members come from public and private educational facilities in the following school districts: Avon Grove, Kennett Consolidated, Octorara, Oxford, Cecil County (MD). Because of our proximity to neighboring counties and states, we also serve members from Lancaster County, Delaware County, and Northern Maryland and Delaware.
